Fred Grilli
I have recently retired after 50 years in the service industry and have retired from the Navy as well. I have volunteered for many worthy groups over the last few years. This includes but not limited to: A corporate outreach multi volunteer organization who are not just focused on one group but many such as the Burke rehab hospital, battered women, cancer (Guilders house) and the homeless. I have also been involved in serving food at a local church. In the past I have done EMT volunteer work and volunteered as a member of the Friends of Hammonasset Beach. Trained as a Master Conservationist of the State of Connecticut, I can understand the impact of issues surrounding ticks and the different illnesses they carry. In addition, as a close friend of the Waterhouse family, I have seen firsthand how Lyme Disease has affected Darren and understand how important it is to begin strongly advocating awareness and education regarding this illness.
